Okay, guys, how many more yrs til Dabo's dumpster fire year?

Man, I'm tellin' ya, if Deshaun goes down somewhere in that 3-4-week early French test (Louisville, bye week, Notre Dame) I'm pretty sure you can kiss a winning season goodbye what with all the losses on defense n' basically a big hole at quarterback. Running game MITE be ok but let's be real here.
Louisville might be a loss anyways but if Watson gets hurt during the bye week practices definitely a dumpster fire year for Dabo & Co.
So basically I'm saying next year's Dabo's bad year cuz I don't think the offensive line will be able to protect Watson needing to run immediately and often; one game over .500 finish next season for Clemson football. what say you?

I don't see any dumpster fire years ahead for Dabo in the near future. Talent + coaching ability throughout the program that makes it highly improbable.
Honestly, even If Watson went down on the 1st play of the 1st game its hard to imagine Clemson not winning 7-8 regular games this year. Next year, I suspect Clemson would win 9-10 games with their backup QB. It would be difficult to coach Clemson to .500 or one game over .500 with our talent and coaching staff.

Why is it that so many are assuming that Louisville and ND are going to be so tough? Louisville's secondary is non existent this year and DW will absolutely punish their D everytime they blitz. Short week or not,IMO, we'll beat them by 2 or 3 scores. Louisville is our statement game, and ND is gonna catch us hot.
IMO, Our toughest tasks are TWO games....BOTH at home. They are GT and FSU. Me personally, I think GT will be the tougher of the two.

Why do a lot of people think that DW is going to get hurt? Seems that is all some posters keep saying. He is healthy and will get the protection he needs from his linemen. Forgot, it is the dumbarse coots that are hoping he will. Temporarily had a brain freeze. There will be no dumpster fires with Dabo. He isn't that drunk from the midlands.

Coach Swinney will know when his time has passed as a Head Football Coach. However, I do not believe he would accept a coaching position anywhere outside of Clemson. I can see Dabo retiring from Clemson as a Legendary Coach. His success comes not only from his ability to recruit, but from his ability to select a very talented coaching staff. If Venables leaves us anytime soon then I would say that we may be in for a couple of lack lustered seasons. However, I believe that it's safe to say that Venables has no desire of becoming a Head Coach anytime soon and he loves Clemson.
That being said, I believe that Coach Swinney will know when it is time to hang up the Whistle and Clip Board. When that happens he will get a ceremony at the 50 yard line and a new coach just as solid as Dabo will step up.
