Ohio St missing a game to covid is no small thing

Nov 11, 2020, 4:02 PM

If they miss 3 games they're not eligible for their own conference championship and surely wouldn't be in the playoffs.

Never ever ever ever doubt ESPN and the EYE TEST where Ohio State, ND or Bama is concerned.

How many fans/alumni does 0310 St have?

No way are they out of the playoffs.

Probably skeered of Maryland after what they did to Ped State.

CU...that's a great observation. Not necessarily from the OSU missing the playoff scenario but from Covid potentially wrecking the rest of the season. You've got the 2 top teams not playing this weekend because of Covid plus a number of other games cancelled. I think CFB will do all they can to maintain the season but it is quickly dissolving into one big cluster. Hopefully, college presidents don't make any knee jerk reactions and call for a cancellation of the season. What a great year!

I think the ACC and SEC will start canceling meaningless games here shortly....does anyone really needs to see Clemson beat FSU by 35 coming off a bye or Bama destroy a depleted LSU...

Helll LSU punter is now listed as their number 2 quarterback.

Yea. If Clemson only had to play 7 games, we would still be undefeated. Certainly an 11-1 ACC champion Clemson program carries more clout than a 7-0 OSU program that still hasn't beaten a team with a winning record.

I guess missing the Maryland game, not only impacts the 0 - 4U schedule but eliminates Fields from Heisman consideration. Or is that just a caveat for Clemson and TL?

I would now think Matt Jones falls in that category too.
