Apparently that is what happened. Wallace, leading WR for Cowboys is not playing in the second half. "Player decision" is what the sideline reporter was told.

One would think this is a red flag regarding decision making. And, maturity. If he was worried about getting hurt or getting a virus - he should have done so earlier! Or right at the start of the game or something. Faked an injury for that matter would have been better!
This has "look at me" written all over it.
I hope it is noticed in the opposite way intended.
Disclaimer: "no, i do not know the full story"! But, if it is anything outside of something extremely drastic all of the above applies! I'll save room to change my mind; but it's going to have to be a good one.

If I were Coach I think I would tell him to find his own way home. It’s one thing to not travel and decide not to play, but to quit in the middle of a game is pure BS. What is wrong with these kids.

Things have been different since Jaylen Smith of ND shredded his knee in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State.
There were other bowl game injuries before him, but IMO, that was the turning point in college football.
