Well, I have to disagree completely. I’ve heard many tries over the years, but it always comes out with a slight tweak of a “p” when pronounced correctly. Embrace it! It’s a good thing

As a life long South Carolinian and Clemson grad....just No. There is most definitely a p.
It has always been and forever will be "ClemP-son"! It is not and never will be "Clem-zun" or "Clem-zen". Its ""Clemp-son".

There was always a "P" in there when I went there and we used to get mad at the announcers who said "Clemzon"

1) THE CLEMSON POOL TOPIC IS RELEVANT BECAUSE IT WAS RECENTLY DISCUSSED ON TNET.
2) IF YOU REMOVE THE LETTER “P” FROM THE WORD “POOL”, YOU ARE LEFT WITH “OOL”.
3) “P” IS PRONOUNCED THE SAME AS “PEE”, WHICH NO ONE WANTS IN A POOL.
SO, IF THERE IS CURRENTLY NO “P/PEE” IN THE CLEMSON “OOL/POOL”, I THINK WE’D ALL AGREE WE WANT IT TO STAY THAT WAY.
GET IT?
