Instant Analysis: Survive and Advance
Second-ranked Clemson (6-0 overall, 4-0, ACC) defeated Wake Forest (4-2, 1-2) 28-14 on Homecoming Saturday in Death Valley Saturday afternoon. The Tigers raced out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter before sputtering on offense for much of the remaining three and gave up two late touchdowns to the Demon Deacons, but remain undefeated after a scrappy effort. Instant Analysis.Keep playing like this and you might advance to a good New Year Day Bowl Game. Instant Analysis #2 .Once again a lack of a "Killer Instinct" rares its ugly head.

Not accurate at all. Tigers controlled this game from start to finish, while building more depth and experience on both sides of the ball. Loose money perhaps?

I agree 100 percent. Dabo has never been one to run up the score. Better to give other players an opportunity to get experience in case they are needed in a close game. Go Tigers

Inconsistency... after success.

Play calling wAs definitely better... Bryant looked sharp on most of his throws... But team needs more consistency on its ability to sustain drives... Again, a lull after its first possessions in the first and second halves. This continues to happen...

Remember that Wake’s defense is very good. They made adjustments to slow us down. The game became a defensive struggle for a while. More Wake’s adjustments than our inconsistencies.

Good control of the game. Impressed with the O and D even when it looked scary. Tigers controlled the game throughout. Wake never had a chance. What more can a fan base ask ?
