Stop bitching about the elite 8. They may put some banners up for being 1 of 8 teams. Last time I checked I'd rather win the ###### football national championship then lose in the elite 8 of basketball.

Bunch of whiny #######.

Yeah.....I agree. We're a football school. Carolina is a baseball school. They ache with every fiber of their being to be a football relevant school. They're not, and they never have been. Even when Spurrier was there. (Boy, did he ever leave their cupboard bare!)

Consider this: Todd "The Voice of the Gamecocks" Ellis has more interceptions than he has touchdown passes....73 to 49... Yet, and I am not making this up, he is in their Hall of Fame. As a player...not as an announcer.

They should change their colors to green and darker green. They are so envious of Clemson that the jealousy is palpable. They want to be a football power....but they aren't.

BTW...don't you feel embarrassment for them when you hear that cock-a-doodle-do on the loud speaker at their home games when they(rarely) make a good play? I thought it was a parody the first time I heard it. When.....a couple games later.....I heard it, I thought they were a glutten for self punishment.
