B-ball season getting close....any word on transfer eligibility?...

Oct 18, 2019, 5:42 PM

Opener on Nov. 5...
Pre-season game on Oct. 30....

Shouldn’t we know by now who is playing?

You’re right, we should know by now, but no word from the NCAA.

Clemson is preparing with the assumption that both Moore and Honor will be eligible.

"Everybody needs to know that Coach Brownell is arguably the best coach to come through Clemson." -PJ Hall

IF they are eligible...then this team will be quite the team to watch...

I hope that is the case...I thought for sure that Honor would have to wait a year.
Bring on the hoops!

They also have to prepare as if they won't be

Moore should be a no brainer. No idea what the hold up is there. Honor, who knows? We could certainly use a favorable ruling on him, as without him, we have 1 PG, a true freshman. Not ideal.

PG to me is the biggest question mark with this team. Just no depth if Honor isnt eligible and Trapp out at least until conference play begins in earnest in January

NCAA doesn't care about athletes

Oct 18, 2019, 6:23 PM

There have been many cases where student athletes are left sitting out until NCAA gets around to making a decision in their own sweet time...sometimes well after the season begins. There needs to be a Decision Deadline (like October 1st) that gives coaches, players & schools a clear path to prepare for the upcoming season. Unfortunately, that's asking WAY too much of the NCAA.

The NCAA didn’t approve Tanner Muses brother who transferred to UofSC until after their first game. The delays make no sense.
