Muschamp’s 2020 offense...assuming he isn’t fired

Jul 31, 2019, 9:55 PM

Will have a freshman or redshirt freshman QB with likely minimal to nil playing experience (if last year was any indication). He will have 3 redshirt freshmen and 1 true freshman RB, all of which will have never played a down in college football and by all appearances lack serious talent.

Add their traditional lack of OL talent and Muschamp is facing his last year of major college football head coaching experience.

The coaching grave yard claims yet another victim...

I sincerely hope you're wrong and even though I believe you're not , I can dream can't I ?

Spurrier's exit was it for me . Even their winners leave without a kiss .
What a pitiful clade they are .

I almost hate to belittle the gamecocks, their history, their coach. Muschamp has done a respectable job. We dominate them as a program. The fact that most gamecocks hate their best coach ever (Spurrier IMO) says a little some thing about the program.

They love him and may hang on longer than most programs would because they couldn’t find anybody that wanted to go there. Three years of below .500 before they would cut the 500 coach because he’s a great recruiter...lol

at back-to-back sub .500 seasons.

He'll survive 2019 because of the difficult schedule snake oil they'll peddling in Slumbia.

That will buy him one more year but after he finishes no better than 6 - 6 and suffers a seventh straight loss to Clemson in 2020, his seat will be hotter than a $2.00 wh0re on a Friday night in Five Points.

I'll go on record right now and predict at least a twelve peat for us.

I know that you are talking offense, but the uncertainty of Muschamp remaining the coach is a major reason that I think Burch ends up a Tiger. Forget one or two years. What are the odds that Muschamp makes it 4 or 5 years so that the current recruits do not have a change in coaching staff? Burch knows it is unlikely, which makes the leg humpers our main competition and I think we win that battle.

Hilinski will be the latest QB who comes in with tons of expectations only to fall prey to Muschamp's coaching. See Jake Bentley and Jeff Driskell.
