still defending the Broward cowards a very damning piece was printed by The Miami Herald (not a conservative paper). The article stated that officials missed multiple offences committed by the perp that would have allowed him to be arrested. One of which was a felony, threatening to kill people via social media, and would have required him to surrender all firearms in his possession! Bingo, no guns to shoot up the school.
So let's no longer say their hands were tied, they were not. Their eyes were covered just like one of the proverbial 3 monkeys.

Yes, thank you for putting it up, but don't try to change the topic by talking about bullet wounds. The perp should have clearly been arrested and in jail or a mental institution.

Not trying to change subject. But since we are able to now source the Miami Herald, I may have learned something different regarding the AR-15 and/or the cartridges it uses. Ive seen several state on here that the same destruction would have been accomplished with your every day polymer pistol and extended magazines. This article seems to cast a bit of doubt on that hypothesis.
So agreed that there were misses by law enforcement. My guess is there are hundreds if not more of these potential events that are prevented due to law enforcement procedures/investigations. It seems that for those that do slip through that perhaps not having access to such high velocity weapons is a good thing. The dialogue I have been hearing was that the AR-15 was just like a standard semi-automatic pistol that happened to be a rifle. Seems like its a little more than that.
Full disclosure: I do have a CPL and own a non-Glock 9mm polymer pistol and most likely will be purchasing another firearm in the near future.

That's nothing new. We just have stupid liberals who's experience with guns doesn't extend beyond video games. It's about the AR15 and the fact it has figured prominently in many mass shootings. Start there, get rid of assault rifles, then move to all semi-autos with legislature containing specific exclusionary wording like,"any mechanism that increases the rate of fire", then single shot muskets will be all that remains. This won't happen quickly, just like the 1st amendment, the 2nd amendment will be slowly and incrementally eroded over time. That's when people who deny this today will wake up one day and say "what happened"? We tried to tell you you stupid blind #####.

Socialism. Plain and simple. The slow imperceptible creep toward a socialist state has been happening since the 80's. The high divorce rates, stagnant wages, rising costs all serve to erode the engine of capitalism: The Nuclear American Family. The signs are there if you look for them. The censorship seen on google, twitter, Facebook and YouTube are not an accident and neither is the attack on the 2nd amendment.
