We are a gritty team, no doubt. It's an overused cliche, but I do like that we keep fighting back and finding a way to win many of those games. There's no such thing as an ugly win so I'll take em.

40 wins & a home regional vs. at Columbia

These mid-week "unimportant" games can be the difference between a 40 win season and hosting a regional and a 32-35 win season and being a visitor to Columbia or Nashville come June.
Do not under estimate the importance of winning these mid week games against "lesser" ( College of Charleston, Coastal, Georgia) opponents that tend to make the tournament .

I'm not concerned with midweek games vs lower competitive schools...my worry is the pitching staff on the road, errors, and pissing games away.

This team is 11-12. We should beat them. Furman wanted to give us the game last night, but we didn't want to take it. Last I heard last night, they gave up 13 walks and we had at least 12 LOB. Not what I wanted to see after the disaster in Miami.
