Jeff Bostic. Barry Richardson was good too. I only go back to the early 70’s, though.

Barry Richardson??? He’s not even in the same class as Hyatt. He may have been the best on the team when OL was our greatest weakness.

I remember reading how Mitch Hyatt did not ever even seriously think about another program. Then watching his film. I clearly remember going, that dude will start day one. Check. I thought he would be good for us for 4 years. Check. I figured he would be a high Clemson OL draft pick. Most likely!

Thank you for your contribution to the program so far Mitch Hyatt! Awesome man!

Definitely! A starter at LT from day 1.

Just Mr. Consistent. When he made a mistake, it was noticeable because it happened so infrequently. He should go down with the all time great Tigers. Seemed to let loose if just a little bit last night at the end of the game.

Yes

Multi year AA, 2 time National Champ, 4 time ACC, 4 yr starter, most starts in school history.

He's ROH worthy

He should be in the discussion. I'll say this though. Jackson Carman has grown a lot this year and looks like a man when he steps out on the field now. It will be interesting to revisit this in a couple years.

Yes, probably, but Lou Cordeleone and Wayne Mass were both

On NFL rosters for a number of years.

Don't forget Harry O was 1st team AA the year after Mass

Jan 9, 2019, 6:10 PM

I an not about to argue for or against any one of all those mentioned. I just know that there have been many through Clemson that were great but being an OL means few in the public know how well you are doing your job or even know your name. I don't know how to spell Harry O's last name, not because I don't remember it but because I am terrible at spelling especially at names.

Does he have the most starts in CU history? CW would be

Jan 8, 2019, 8:28 PM

pretty close I guess. 59 opportunities in these past 4 years.

Unfortunately Hyatt has fallen on a lot of draft boards apparently. Can someone that’s better at evaluating OL talent explain that?
