Not reviewable for overturn in this case but is in other cases. The inconsistency of such should not be, imo.

One thing I’ll never get in this sport

At times it’s overly clear a Player has control but the refs prefer to let things play out rather than call possession. It’s like refs think a dog pile is good for the sport rather than make the correct call prior to everyone piling on a player holding possession.
