My favorite is the Chemawa Indians smacking down Pacific University 104-0.

GT put up 222 ... bet that wasn't the triple option.

Oh yeah, Clemson put one on Guilford too.

It probably was an early version of the option offense. That is all anyone ran back then.

Poor Cumberland... beat down by tennessee the year before GT 101-0... Lol I hope they shut down the program

The story is that John Heisman, who also coached the GT baseball team, was mad that Cumberland beat GT in baseball badly by ~20 runs by supposedly using semi-pro players. He simply wanted to return the favor.

Steering the conversation back to Clemson, though, John Heisman is not only winningest coach by % in Clemson football...he is also our winningest coach in baseball, too

And, of all the schools he coached football, his highest win% was at Clemson.

I think the rules were a bit different back in the day. If you have never seen this it is well worth your time. Cumberland was playing with a bunch of law students.
