Did you hear about the infamous recruiting class of 14 five star players that signed with that team down south? It was the greatest recruiting class ever, but they never won a national championship. The coaches were unsupportive, didn't develop the players skills, the academic department didn't make players attend class, the players partied a lot and didn't sleep enough, and they were all bragging on social media and dreaming of the NFL instead of the team.
Yes, I made all of that up to say that player development and culture are EVERYTHING. So they cheated us from a #1 recruiting ranking. No biggie. Success happens during the long slow days when no one is watching. Let's go tigers.

You should have included the first sentence of your second paragraph at the end of your first paragraph because it is also fabricated.
Development and culture are big things, but they mean nothing on the national level if you don't have a portion of those elite players to compete physically.
From everything we heard last season, UNC Charlotte is Clemson without talent. They have an amazing culture with their new coach, and they are developing their talent very well and improving quickly. They barely made a bowl game though because they don't have top 100 players to go out and beat the men on the other side of the ball.
Being #1 in recruiting isn't important, but competing for #1 is.

It’s really rare you see threads from message boards of “elite” programs clearly butt hurt about not getting a #1 recruiting ranking. The rest of us know not to put too much stock in recruiting class rankings. Obviously you young bucks are still new to the whole thing.

How many CFPs has LSU been in since it started? We've been in 5 and won 2 championships.
LSU has been in 1. Grats on your victory. But, to come to a Clemson board and tell us to act like we've been there before is ridiculous. That's why you're a loser. It's not that you're a troll visiting another school's board. It's that you suck at math that makes you a loser.

C'mon, lol!
All of the "pretend" wanna-be big-boy programs from the SEC like to brag all day long about recruiting rankings, especially LSU fans. Outside of LSU having a once-in-a-blue moon type of season 2019 where has it gotten you lately? One actually relevant season?
When you're an elite program like Clemson, you don't need any pointers from fanbases whose ONLY claim legitimate to fame in recent memory is beating BIG BAD CLEMSON in the NC.

p.s. most Clemson fans could care less about "recruiting rankings" because we know our coaching staff evaluates and develops better than other programs. We're always loaded up, even if it takes the "experts" a while longer to come around on Hunter Refro, Vic Beasley, Grady Jarrett, etc...

How were we cheated? We narrowly missed the top ranked class and had 2 less commitments which is the cause but they're accurate due to class size.
