LittleJohn needs better concession options

Don't you think the concession quality at LJ could be improved? It's just generic Aramark hot dogs and hamburgers, nachos etc. why not get a restaurant to set up in there? Maybe some unique things or options ?
It makes the noon starts tough because eating at the game isn't really an option.

I would've paid $20 for a cup of that hot chocolate during some of those cold games.

Beer is an issue with on campus stadiums. Not sure if the NCAA forbids the sale of beer at these venues, but almost all the campus stadiums I have been to do not offer beer, with the old Horizon Center on DePaul's campus being the lone exception.

Don’t the club seats have beer already? At Clemson

you’re allowed to have alcohol in the stadium if you are special...boxes at football, special seating at baseball, etc.
The poors aren’t responsible enough, I guess.

Alcohol is too big of a liability. No way for concession workers to know how many people are ordering or consuming. One drunk gets in a wreck after drinking at one of our games and Clemson will get sued.
As a fan who has had a drunk vomit down my back at a football game, I can assure that pouring more alcohol down people’s throats during a game is not a good idea. I’ve also seen people passed out in the stands at football games and I’m sure many of you have too.
If you can’t last 3 1/2 hours at a ball game without pouring a beer down your throat, you may need professional help. I am not against drinking as I enjoy a snort myself once in a while. But there is enough beer and liquor flowing on our campus during a sporting event as it is. The university doesn’t need to get involved in the alcohol business too.
Just my 2 cents worth. Flame away.

Couldn't agree more. Whether I'm having a few tailgating before football or heading down College Blvd. to enjoy some at the local bar, that's where it should stay for ballgames. People getting drunk in the stands is not a good look for the University, even though I'll admit when I was younger I was one of those drunks. Look what old age has done to me!!

They won’t do it, because the club level for high donars has high quality food in the club seating area. Not going to give that to regular customers because they are not donating that much coin.

Littlejohn has 4 corners. Put a Chic-fil-a in one corner, a Subway in another corner, a Papa John’s in the third corner and a Dairy Queen (hamburgers, hotdogs and ice cream) in the last corner.
Of course with such poor attendance these places would never make a profit and would eventually fold. Also the increase in the number of people crawling back and forth all over you for the entire game as they keep going to the concession stands would ruin your game experience.
For the life of me I cannot understand why Americans can’t go to a sporting event, a movie or even to church today without continually stuffing their faces. No wonder we are the most obese country in the world.

I was just about to post a basketball game still takes just 2 hours to play as opposed to football that can now last 4 hours. If people can’t go 2 hours without more than a coke, peanuts and popcorn they probably need to do a little self examination.

Boy shut your mouth. It has been years since I heard that name. Used to be our ritual to hit Katherine's Kitchen on the hill anytime we were heading south out of town. Something about eating that steak biscuit on the dock. Back then there weren't all the restaurants in Anderson like now. Unfortunately most of them now suck
