Lets say Dabo coached at Clemson a total of 20-25 years

At the end he had 4 CFP appearances and 1 or 2 National Championships. YOu'd say wow great coach and amazing career. When you realize what he's done in just 10 years it makes it so amazing that its really hard to grasp.

You Bet ! I marvel at what he was able to put together in just 3 years after his full time nod , and that he has not only maintained a winning phase but has taken it to another level seemingly each and every year .
We have to be doing something right to deserve this kind of treatment :)

I would take it a step further. The winning and the timeframe he has done it within is amazing. To me, the WAY he is winning is even that much more impressive. He is recruiting high character kids that want to be here, stay out of trouble, be a part of our culture and develop beyond football. To me, that is the most astounding part of what Dabo has done. He really is doing it the right way and I believe has built the model college football program right here in Pickens County. I live here in Clemson and my son played on Dabo's Rec Basketball team for a couple of years. He really is the real deal and walks the talk. We are lucky to have him and Kathleen at Clemson.

good point. I think his culture is unique. Yet it is so ingrained in all of us at times we dont fully appreciate it. we are as lucky to have that as we are the results of it

it is a unique culture IMO but as a participant in that culture since 1950 I can say that Dabo “stands on the shoulders of giants” in what he has built and continues to build at Clemson. Much of it was already established, particularly in the University and especially in the fan base. This is something our rivals have generally failed to grasp. It’s not something any single person (coach or administrator) can establish if the framework doesn’t already exist. This is something our rivals can not grasp, though they have expectations of it in every new coach or AD or prez that shows up Dabo has certainly given it an infusion of greatness though and continues to build our culture stronger and stronger. We are indeed fortunate to have CDS not only as a great coach but as one of the greatest leaders and spokespersons of CU in its history. And he is a great fit here precisely because of the culture that preceded him and which he will continue to expand and refine

That had definitely NOT been the case in a long time.

The BOT, the President, and the Athletics Director all rowing in the same direction with Dabo.
