Just out of curiosity, did anyone who went to New Orleans

Apr 26, 2020, 10:03 AM

for championship game come back with a cough from hell? My daughter and I both started a dry cough on the way home and it last more than 2 weeks. Not saying it was coronavirus but I knew several other friends who had the cough then too. I was saying then that this is the worst cough I've ever had. Had one night of sweating profusely and then after that it started getting a little better.

The Friday after returning from NOLA we started feeling bad. Sunday when we got up we were so weak we felt like we were going to pass out. Called Prompt Care and were seen. Tested for flu-negative ! We were given strong antibiotics, Prednisone , cough syrup with codeine and perles for cough. Weak, exhausted and coughed for weeks. Three and a half weeks later went to our GP and were put on more antibiotics. We have NEVER had coughs like we had. I have often said we must have had Coronavirus. Two other couples were with us and had same symptoms.

crowded streets and stadium and spread like wildfire. I've heard from responsible doctors that Covid could have been in US as early as November. They are only speculating that it is possible.

It's also likely that you caught the Cajonavirus . That's a nasty bug once you're infected ... there's no cure and one of the worst symptoms is it makes everything you eat taste like a muddy roux .

And then about 4 days later I woke up in the middle of the night around 4am with weird feeling throughout my body and had intense fever.

I shivered probably harder than I have in my life for like an hour, wrapped under several blankets.

The next day I felt really tired all day. I felt fine the day after and I had no lingering side effects. It was just really weird and something I hadn’t experienced before.
