Yeah. Don't remember what the exact number is or if they've actually set one but teams aren't charged for their "extra" scholarships in 2021; 2020 is essentially a freebie year...if you're a true freshman this year with 5 years left to play 4, you'd still be a true freshman next year...with 5 years left to play 4 (4 playing seasons plus a redshirt season.) So teams will be able to go way over the 85-scholarship limit for 2021.

The complicating thing is that teams may have to remain at the 85 limit for 2022, so you can't go crazy and load your roster in 2021 because you may wind up way over when the limit returns to normal.

There isn't a specific number, ot just has to be straight by particular date in 2022. I don't recall the date.

I was not sure so I searched online. It appears that current seniors that return will not count against the 85. This actually makes sense.
