Question on the Co-OC's,...

Dec 2, 2014, 5:05 PM

Just how the heck is that supposed to work?

Isn't that kind of like having Co-Head Coaches? Co-Plant Managers? Co-Presidents?

I'm baffled by you people

Tons of programs have Co-Ocs. We have Co-Dc's already. Marion Hobby has the title of Co-DC. One calls the plays and one consults and helps develop the game plan. In some systems, one is passing game cord and one is running game cord, which isn't out of the question. In Auburn's case, neither of their 2 OCs call plays.

Thought Venables was the DC,...???

You are correct

When you have a DC and a co-DC reporting to the DC is it not really two chiefs. It's one chief and a guy with a nice title.

And that is EXACTLY what has many nervous: neither will be
