They did basically tell the NCAA what they had done so they could avoid the buyout. Otherwise there would have been nary a peep from the NCAA.

was necessary before Tennessee could try and find success again. Too many supporters thought he was the answer although it seemed obvious to many he was not.

I remember his first press conference as AD and thinking that I pity any coach that would work under him.
