Appropriate would be a better word. Jackson was responsible for the Cherokee's Trail of Tears under his Indian Removal Act. Try walking from Georgia to Oklahoma...men women and children. 4000 Indians died during the 2200 mile walk.
And before people start screaming 'you can't change history', my point is only that Tubman or any number of American's would be a better reflection of American and Christian values than Jackson.
Somebody hand me a musket....

and was against an out of control federal government. Yes, he ran some injuns off our land and was less than polite about it. He was still a great president and didn't deserve to be taken off a bill. If there was a need for Tubman to get a bill, start printing $3 bills or something so that no one needs to be taken off. This revisionist history is straight garbage, and it's teaching young people to be intolerant of anyone who isn't PC.

Traffickers lead people INTO bondage. Ms. Tubman led them OUT of bondage. You are either too ignorant to know the difference or too prejudiced to care. The racist Jackson has been on our currency way too long already ..... I say good riddance.

The banana incident isn't about slaves because the USofA doesn't grow bananas. It's about Darwin using the skulls of ~130 blacks he killed on his 'truth,' voyage around the world to prove that blacks are the missing link between man and monkey.
I know you young folks find that offensive but look at it from my perspective. I grew up in a strange little place called Rockwood, Tennessee. During the 1950s and 60 we had no race problems. My grandparents owned and operated a small grocery/general store on the exact location between the black and white communities.
Children played together but went to different schools. I never figured that one out. My first encounter with the Theory of Evolution was the fifth grade. I refused to accept blacks being the missing link. I couldn't tell the difference between blacks and whites because my grandparents and parents treated them no differently.
I'm thick with Cherokee blood and I was treated no differently. We were all proud of our heritage. No one want to contaminate their precious theory by reminding folks of the horror the 'scientific,' minds imagined. Whites won't talk about it anymore.

Its definitely not something to complain about, and once less thing for others to complain about. As a white male I feel plenty represented on US currency. I am more concerned about making it than I am about whose picture is on the bill anyway.

would be in favor of a special one time coin issued like the Susan B Anthony $1 coin. But I do not believe Harriett Tubbman belongs on any regular currency.
This has nothing to do with race. It's s matter of respect for some of our former Presidents. And I agree not all former Presidents deserve to be on our money.
