Well who wouldn’t draft the mediocre 1st year QB from an 8-5 UNC-CH team over the national championship winning QB?

Personally I am glad the Bears didn't get him. He would have been massacred in his first year with the o line they had. Ryan Pace doesn't know how to draft a decent player, so let the Mccaskeys suffer by being so stupid as to hire an idiot for General Manager. I rarely even watch them anymore, probably want until manageable changes and they get rid of Trubisky.
Forgot to add, the total dumba s.s traded up 1 spot to get that idiot and gave up draft choices. Dumbest move ever by a so called G.M.

A friend of mine is a hard core Bears fan.
Basically they've given up on both Trubisky and Matt Nagy. Same for Ryan Pace, the dumb GM who the 49ers duped into giving up draft picks to move up one spot to #2.
They don't really think much about missing on DW4. The issue is the Bears this past season were unwatchable and they know the 3 guys above are all coming back.

A friend of mine and most of my coworkers are Die-Hard Bears fans. I live about 70 miles outside of Chicago and I can tell you it’s just the opposite. They think about DW4 quite a bit and yes they are sick about passing on him.

What's your take on Nagy and Trubisky? Keep one or toss them both?

Trubisky by all accounts is a great teammate and decent leader. He just doesn’t have what it takes to be a starting QB on a winning team. In fairness to him he never did have it. We watched him in training camp up here and he’s a good practice player, good with kids, charismatic, all the stuff that wins a job. I say keep him until another bird is in hand and make some front office moves, Nagy definitely.

Well I feel like I have since Hallas passed. I watch with lack of interest and expectation with a side of indifference. I wake up every morning wishing McCasky was dead. Maybe once she is out of the way her kids will come to their senses and realize they suck at managing the franchise. Then maybe they sell it and the team will have a future again.
Until that happens I wouldn't wish the Bears on any of our Clemson players.
The decision to pass on Watson (and Mahommes) to select Turbisky is a perfect microcosm of how they run the franchise. The reality is Watson went to a better place and I am happy for that!
