I will go out on a limb

Feb 24, 2021, 3:50 PM

And pick:

Alabama
Clemson
Ohio State
Oklahoma

For the CFP

Tell me I’m wrong

Even if we drop the first game this will be true...

No one gets in our way outside of a tough first game matchup with the pups. I hate having to play OSU again in semis but that is how it is teeing up

Over 7 years of CFP, teams outside those four were picked seven times (including ND twice).

So I would say odds are one of those four don't make it.

You're wrong.
LOL. OK seriously - good off-season talk, just a couple questions. Obviously the winner of our game will have a leg up on the CFP, but what do you think the chances are the loser gets in? Which team, Clemson or UGA, do you think would have a better chance to get in after losing that game? And last, do you think there's any chance the winner of our game gets left out if the loser gets in (barring a complete collapse)?

Most fans want to talk about winning an upcoming game but you seem to want to talk about losing. Guess you're at least in the proper frame of mind.

Au contraire. Georgia is going to win the game. There is no doubt.
Just looking for some actual football discussion.

Time to bet the ranch then, or the trailer in your likely case. You could even get on a twitter post showing how positive you are......or are you just blowing smoke, so typical of a UG fan?

LOL. Not to worry - I've made a killing over the years betting UGA over Clemson. You guys will almost certainly be favored, probably by about 4 or 5, and as a favorite y'all have covered only once since I can ever remember (and that was way back in 1990 - the depth of the Goff years for us). But like I mentioned in my first post before you started the smack, that's not why I came here - just for some actual football talk.

The real question is- is this 1 of the years you beat SC?

After that you can talk about getting into final four with or without a lost to us.

Whatever - wake me if/when Kirby ever loses 5 in a row to them.

Who let the mutt come to the dinner table. Over there in the Sec always begging for scraps. Go win you another recruiting title.

We'll almost certainly go with JT Daniels. There will be a good competition between Brock Vandagriff and Carson Beck - but most likely it'll be for the backup spot. But we'll have quality depth in any case. And whoever we go with will have lots of returning production at receiver and running back.
How do y'all feel about DJ?
