if uof6c had any self-respect, they would take advantage of this opportunity to, at least for once, demonstrate a high level of character and sportsmanship by allowing Army to take their place and play UAB in the Gasparilla Bowl.

Absolutely no one, not even uof6c fans, wants to watch a 2 - 8 team play in a bowl game. Why not save your fans and team further embarrassment and humiliation of losing to a conference USA team (the Capons opened as a 5-point underdog to UAB), and earn some sportsmanship points in the process.

I think it is the "Kill the Program Bowl"

UAB kill off its program for the 2015 season meanwhile, the coots hire Will Muschamp. UAB looked to reinstate their football program for the 2017 season and then notched an 11 win season for 2018. The muscoots did the opposite strategy. After going 9-4 - consider a success in Cootlumbia although other GROUP OF FIVE programs have openly state they FIRE coaches for only winning 9 game, Muscoot took the dismantlement seriously and reduced the wins in a season from 7 to 4 to 2 by 2020.

Since 2017 and the restart of their football program, UAB has won TWICE as many conference championships as South Carolina and notched two bowl wins - which doubled that again of Muscoots total.
