If they didn’t play at all this year. Purely selfishly looking at this, with the exception of definitely prioritizing players’ health, Clemson enters the season with:

1. A QB who is 25-1 as a starter, going into his third and likely final year, best player in the country
2. A RB who is likely Clemson’s best ever, going into his fourth and final year, among top RBs
3. Defense up front will be better than last year.
4. Clemson has still has enough WRs to win it all.

I will happily take 8-10 game season + playoffs, bc the thought of nothing when the ball is set up so nicely on the tee, is a tough notion.

I think if they go to all conference games its going to be a massive change. If that is what they plan to do I think they will put all the division games up front so that way at least a division champ can be claimed if nothing else. I am not sure playoffs happen even if they do spot the ball honestly.

If we play 8-10 games and go unbeaten, but there isn't a playoff then we can at least do like UCF and just declare ourselves as national champions.
