What Officiating Crew for Natty?

Dec 30, 2018, 8:05 AM

Im officially concerned about the head hunting from Alabama. They have played us tough and occasionally gone high and through the whistle in past games but after watching them last night im convinced that this game will be the worst yet.

They look like they are willing to take any penalty (assuming it is called) knowing the reward is likely injuring the opponent. TL will have to take some BIG hits. If he takes off running I will be cringing every time.

They are going to go for knees and heads. For this reason I hope DeX (and BG, ZG) can win an appeal. We need every physical body available to survive the war of attrition.

So what conference is the crew from? They are going to be busy.

Championship Game crews are from a P5 conference that didn't make the playoff, so either Pac-12 or B1G.

I’m going to guess the PAC 10 considering the location of the game. Bama doesn’t appear to be a dirty team to me. I’ve watched the last few games against Clemson and they play hard.

Rarely do you see a Tiger player laying on the field as you saw last night with ND. Anything to slow the game down I guess

Prediction- Bama will three legitimate injuries and take five SEC timeouts.

Alabama isn't dirty - other than the multiple uncalled targeting calls in each game.

They definitely had some dirty moments against OU.

Would that mean they are more likely to call it tight on the Defense.... especially PI's?
