I got kicked out of my favorite sports bar Thursday night

at Grunion's here in Redondo Beach, California. I frequent Grunions several times each week and have become good friends with the owner and all the workers. Most everyone was watching the Eagles and Chiefs. A few monitors had the Clemson game. There had been a few fights, but since very little blood had been spilt, all those involved apologized and went about their business of watching football together and snacking off the happy hour buffet. A homeless guy off the street tried to rob the cash register. But when he saw the NFL game, he mentioned being a big Eagles fan and asked if he could stay and watch. The owner being from Philly said no harm no foul and chose not to call the police. It was about that time that Tiger Rag started playing. I was dancing and shaking my pom poms and at the appointed moment that we have all grown to love so dear, I hollered WOO HOO. I was immediately asked to leave and not return unless I planned to behave more appropriate in the future. They mentioned having no problem with my dancing or my pom poms. But did not want to hear any utterances that mocked or ridiculed anybody else or the school they attended or supported. I tried to explain that I was a Clemson graduate and that this is intended to promote the school's image and motivate the football team. That's when the owner told me to quit lying and pushed me out the door with his foot in the small of my back. I nearly stumbled and fell. I could have easily skinned a knee.
