Woodward is as liberal as it gets, and it’s shocking to me that Trump and/or his advisors agreed to this interview. Woodward is totally trying to take Trump down.
His interviews with Woodward will not matter to those who have already made up their mind. Only the swing voters who haven’t decided yet will be impacted by this. The only silver lining for those who support trump is how many may see through his agenda and discount it.
Still, just a stupid move for Trump to agree to an interview with Woodward.

The article you referenced supports that he’s not a liberal, but I did a little research and there’s many other articles that suggest that he is. I just find it hard to believe that he doesn’t lean democratic. Believe me, I wish I felt differently. But just being fair, my gut tells me he’s a typical member of the press.
I say this as I think Donald Trump is is a despicable dishonest character. But I am of the opinion that its possible to dislike Donald Trump and also dislike some who are unfairly attacking him. Reality is always in the middle of all the different opinions. That’s just where I am

Opants,
If you recognize that it is possible to dislike Trump and still recognize that some may be unfairly attacking him, is it not also possible that Woodward might personally have some liberal leanings and still do an accurate job of interviewing and quoting the President ??
Secondly, Woodward is not just expressing opinions - he is stating FACTS. He has tape recorded conversations from which he is directly quoting the President. Facts should outweigh opinions (or at least opinions should be based on facts).

Its not just one interview.
Woodward disputed all those points, and he has the tape, CNN reports. In fact, he has 10 hours of interviews, some lasting more than half an hour, spread over 19 taped phone calls, often initiated by Trump.

Please. The man is a Navy veteran and has a very moderate, if not somewhat conservative, track record. He was even criticized by the left for his portrayal of the Bush administration in his books.
And Woodward didn't attack Trump. He asked him questions and Trump agreed to be recorded for his answers.
Only Trump is to blame for this fall out.
What Woodward has been biased about all his career is taking down ###### and corrupt politicians.
