get better. At least we are not starting 0-2 like FSU's 1989 team that turned it around and finished in the top 5. We can still win it all.

I'm just saying the people saying "this shows how high our program is now" are a little off because many teams would be concerned with a close win like that over Troy

I'm not concerned with a close win.
I am however concerned that we are not playing like the #2 team in the country.
Far from it,unless we start playing better,on Oct.2nd,we might not even be the best team in the division.

Yup. Saban said their win yesterday was one of his worst and most embarrassing wins ever, and they won 38-10. They made a lot of mistakes like we did. Drops, penalties and lackadaisical play.

Yep though I certainly am not advocating Dabo act like Saban. I do think in team meetings the sense of urgency needs to be elevated. We have a big target on us and we need to start bringing it

So do you not think they are addressing those things in team meetings? Gee whiz guys. We are 2-0 and not playi g great ball. With that said, if guys were catching balls, neither of these games would have been close.

If guys are catching balls, the running game would be better. And when the running game is better, so is the passing game.

It would not have been too many years ago that if we played this way we would probably be 0-2.
