Hot Take - Basketball

Amir Simms and Clyde Trapp will be NBA players.

I know that sounds crazy, but these two have elite athleticism and size to play in the NBA. Also both are only sophomores and if you look at player development under Brad Brownell, they should be really polished over their last 2 years.

That's fair. Simms has tweener size and Clyde Trapp would project as a PG but it could happen

Newman. Thomas is the guy we need to be concerned about because I haven’t seen that much solid play from the new front line guys.. B.B. is giving them some playing time so he’s doing the right thing. Other teams are not going to let Thomas beat them. We have already seen how rough they play around him. Denying him the ball is the first thing opponents are doing now. I hope Coach is pointing out this physical defense against him. Not that it matters!
