Horrible news out of Hendersonville, N.C.

Sep 11, 2020, 5:05 AM

Deputy Ryan Hendrix, 35, an 8 year veteran of the Sherriffs office and a Marine was shot and killed while responding to a call of shots fired at a home early Thusrday morning.

He leaves 2 young kids behind. So young to die such a senseless death.

May God grant peace to his family. May God provide safety for police officers who put their lives on the line protecting us. Very sad.

That's just terrible and so very sad to hear. I'm always amazed that there are people willing to put their lives on the line to protect all of us. God bless America's heroes.

His brother and family are members of my church in Taylors and are missionaries in a country they cannot leave right now due to travel restrictions. The family is obviously crushed, and that’s only made worse by their inability to be together to grieve Ryan’s death. Pray for the Hendrix family.

Thats horrible. It can happen so quick. And people want cops to be more careful about using deadly force...

That 13-year old autistic kid got out of the hospital early?***

Terrible. Praying for his family.

What is almost equally terrible are all the liberals who do not realize their anti-cop and it's-okay-to-riot rhetoric is a major cause of putting officer's lives at risk.

This is tragic. Prayers go out for his family***

Just remember that all those left wing Marxists who have been attacking police officers all over the country will be happy at this development. Heck, they are nutty enough these days to probably come right out and admit it. Vote in November

This is completely apolitical. Why dump in P&R?***

Senseless, tragic death of a good officer doing his job.

Sep 11, 2020, 9:52 AM

Prayers for that poor family. The only silver lining that is likely little consolation to them is that the murderer was brought to justice immediately.

But to answer your question, just look NC right above you. OP knew the disrespectful blowhards like him (left or right) just wouldn't stay quiet, soooooo P&R.
