Higgins caught a pass just like Amari against Bama 2 years

ago that was ruled a catch. (Higgins got hit and he dropped it in the endzone from a laser from TL)

Amari's looked exactly the same to me. Again, not that it mattered, but I don't know why one was a catch and one wasn't.

I kinda thought maybe Higgins wasn't a catch.

Thought the same thing. But someone stated on another board that if the player is in contact with another player he has to control the ball all the way through to the ground.

In don’t think Tee was touched until after he landed.

They were similar, but as I recall Tee had brought the ball down to his side when he was hit, and it probably helped that the ref threw a flag for a late hit. The ball was still over Amari's head when it got knocked out.

I just rewatched that play. Tee caught the ball and took two to three steps in the end zone and then the Bama back sort of slapped his hand. The steps and the fact the Ohio State guy caught the ball were the difference.

That's funny because I thought the same exact thing, but in that case I think they actually flagged the defensive player for unsportsmanlike conduct. I'll have to read the rule, but I thought once a player established possession in the end zone the play was over. Amari had another catch like that this year that wasn't even reviewed.
