get covid by not playing, or by the entire team suspending play?

I didn't think so! As they drop out of the tightly structured protocols of their respective team, and resume normal activities of a typical college student, their risk increases!

Why can't these idiots like Duke see that?

This has more the feel of FSWho football just not wanting to take losses than an actual concern for student athlete welfare.

It’s the rigorous testing and protocols they want to opt out of. They’ll probably play pick up basketball on their own after opting out. And make no mistake She-shoves-ski was floating a trial balloon to see if he could get a couple more blue blood name programs to quit along with him but only Kentucky was having an equally crappy season and you know their fan base would run you out of town before quitting in December.
