get on here and other Clemson sites, you are dumber than I thought. It is human nature to want read articles about yourself and see what people are saying about you. FYI, we almost lost a couple of recruits because of message board statements.
Now, if I read you right, you may be doing this on purpose to try to get rid of him

Does it really matter whether that particular athlete reads the comments on this board. TigerNet has grown a great deal over the years and there are people that come browse our sites from other schools (high schools and college ) what fans say on a board shouldn't influence any players decision to play for Clemson, but we can't be ALLIN and b$itches at the same time

well, they are 17-18 years old. And you can't tell me if you read something negative about yourself it does not hurt a little, even if you know it is "only" a message board. Kids his age are vulnerable and have not yet grasped the adult thinking. Several schools have lost recruits because of message boards.
And parents read these boards, too. I have seen interviews with several parents that talked about message boards. Whether they believe what is said or not, it still stings to read it.
If we want to promote Clemson as a family atmosphere, we better practice what we preach. IMO, especially after a recruit has already committed, these negative posts do not promote family. What it does promote is telling a recruit that he is not good enough for our family. You just don't kick your own to the curb.
Ask a coach. They will tell you that you would not believe the recruits that have to reel back in because of message boards.

Lot of people in this world are leaning that way in most aspects of their existence . There is a joy for them in negative comparisons and tearing down others .
I can be negative from time to time , but unless it is deserved I generally reserve the negativity for self-deprecation and such .

Amen to this post. I agree 100 percent. When a student athlete is searching he wants to know that it feels like home. Sometimes TNET has the most immature behind the monitor gangstas. Now if we met 75 percent of some these weak guys in person...I bet you they would keep their mouths shut when it came to insulting a poster who actually made some sense.
