You got the Hand it to the Spur. In one week he turned

Sep 14, 2014, 6:28 AM

that Rag tag bunch of losers into a team that could and did beat the Number 6 team in the Nation. Really didn't look like the same Coot team from a week ago. Didn't look like the same team that lost at HOME to Texas A&M. Missed field goals could have changed things BUT the most thought it would never come down to field goals. Their fans are the same trash throwing losers of course
So, why didn't we have a plan for Gurly? No secret that he would be a big factor in the game
The coots played a 5 foot 8 freshmen wide receiver and he made a great catch. Their QB quickly got off passes which took the bite out of GA defense. We had a QB come into the game that could have done the same thing but he was quickly removed from the game after being successful at what QB Thompson did last night. Couldn't Morris see that Watson was the answer do the GA rush and kept him in the game? Didn't Morris learn anything from the first half? Why did we fall apart in the second half. We were all waiting on the Coots to fall apart in the second half on a hot humid rainy night but they hung in there. Yea Gurly made a long run for what looked like a TD but the OL lineman tackled the D linemen and the refs will call that every time. Still we all thought this game would be a route by GA over SC
The Spur focused on winning that game and did whatever he had to to win that game. He had a plan. Made adjustments. Looks like the players had confidence in their Coach because they didn't panic. Freshman whatever he had to do

Eh? What's that? I can't hear you. Some Bobo keeps yelling "bootleg" in my ear. All I want to do is hand it off to Gurley..

It helps when the ref only calls the hold on the other team when they run a touchdown or an interference when there is an interception. chickens were holding on every play but never called.

Gurley still had 131 yards rushing...

Their plan against him isn't why they won the game.

Spurrier choose to pass the ball all over the terrible UGA secondary. Something that The Chad abandoned in the 2nd half, until it was too late.

Spurrier had a 75 yard drive in the second half with zero passes. He called lots of running plays in the second half. The loss at UGA cannot be blamed on calling running plays in the second half.

Yes, in the 2nd half spur ran the ball much more, bc he had already established the passing game in the 1st half, thus he adjusted his plan as he knew that Pruitt would as well, leaving the run game a nice option.

Chad was confused. He thought Gurley was on our team.***

Spurrier threw to their weak secondary and ran on the left

side of his O line. In other words, he used his strengths and attacked their weaknesses. We, on the other hand, play our game, the sense of which, oftentimes befuddles me.

SC's receivers caught the ball in the first half.***
