Great article from AL.com on Clemson vs Bama staff

This shows a real significant difference between the two programs. No consistency among staff at Bama, Huge consistency with our staff.

ESPN even mentioned that, referencing that staff issues were one reason he picked Clemson over Bama.

People seem to be using Bama as a stepping stone while Dabo has set Clemson up as a home.

didn't Bama go 15-0 with this assistant coach "problem".....I've got no sympathy for Saban….he doesn't find the right loyal assistants like Dabo does. He hires the kind that gives him "W" for the season, and if they move on they move on.

If Saban was more like DAbo, he would be able to find the right fit that won't use him as a springboard....

Saban is good at finding Coordinators/Assistants (hence 15-0), but he ran into Dabo at the Championship game, who finds good AND Loyal who sticks with the program. Saban created his own mess!

isn't a jerk to work for. Saban is extremely difficult, so when they have done their job and another school comes a calling they are willing to jump ship. However, Dabo's attitude makes coaches stay, not to mention most are Alumni. And where else would you want to be?

There's something special about them hills and if you go you know.

He's gone 14-1, but we're the only ones to do 15-0.

Yep, he's certainly done well with it, all things considered. But I think the point is that at some point this inconsistency can come around to bite you, which may be a little of what happened Monday night. And while it may not be hurting him, I can't imagine it could ever help him. At some point, it's gotta become a liability.
