Agree... I swear some people here have never seen a baseball game. The shaving cream to the face after a walkoff is like saying pouring Gatorade on a winning football coach is wrong and it shouldn’t be done.

what happened to him during the interview...he will never forget. The fun the team was having with him was much better than some talking heads asking stupid questions that they already knew the answers to and all of us knew what his answers would be. What the team did to him was nothing but pure respect.

poor Jordan. Was honored twice by his teammates. I bet he is hurt for life. Probably won't speak to his teammates ever again. He actually got more exposure to the media than a silly q&a. You do realize how important this game was, don't you??

poise and professionalism as well. Great responses. I came away thinking "what a great kid" and they're right...the interview will get more airplay because of the bath & pie.

Completely agree and could not have said it better. I was a bit miffed at his strut after the homer, but the way he handled the "adversity" with ESPN was pure poise and class, and it completely redeemed him in my eyes. I have a whole new appreciation for him.

Best Post-Game Interview EVER
May 8, 2018, 7:40 AM
|
|
Loved, loved loved the post-game 'bath and pie' interview with Jordan Greene. The team clearly loves him, went crazy over that terrific game winning walk off homer and it showed. I liked the way Greene turned his back to the camera, wiped his eyes and then continued his calm but excited, well spoken interview, all the while wearing a ton of shaving cream on his face and head. That image will stick forever as a joyous expression of team joy in a win and love for a teammate.
Hilarious and Wonderful!
Go Tigers!!

I agree, interview after the game was great. The player that was dancing around wearing pants on his head during Monty' s interview was over the top.

Agree the shaving cream over the top. Gatoraid OK. One of the best victories for Tiger baseball I have seen.

My,my,my. Why is this even a topic? Guess people who don't like what happened really never played any sport. That was awesome, and funny.
