I’m a Comcast customer and they have no ACCN. Which service should I try for BC game? Do they track you through email address or IP address?
TIA

Youtube TV, Hulu Live, and PS Vue. All offer a free trial, which I think is 7 days but it sometimes varies. You could easily cycle through the three free previews to catch certain games that you want to watch. Go Tigers!

YouTubeTV has been great. I am spending a couple of weeks at our Florida home and since the billing cycle for Comcast was last week I am waiting to the day before I leave to turn in the DVR and cancel the Comcast cable. Keeping the internet only.

Everytime I watch a game via YouTube TV

I seem to hit several patches in the game, when it pauses without warning, sort of like a record that is stopped on the turntable. Crap drives me NUTS. it never happens when I watch any other channels, ONLY on ABC or ESPN. NEVER on any other networks.
Is anyone else having this problem? It also used to happen on SlingTV. Same channels.
Before anyone asks, I have 400mb cable connection, so that isn't the issue. My download rate is NEVER below 250mbs at speedtest.net
Any ideers?

All TV's use a DVR where the signal goes through first. (They are just like the computer that sometimes 'freezes'. When a computer 'freezes' all you have to do is the reboot the system.
In the case of the DVR that 'freezes' the TV picture, all you need to do is reboot the DVR to fix the TV picture from 'freezing'. (Take the power 'off' going to the DRV, wait 10 seconds, and put the power back 'on' the DVR.)

I just started using YouTube TV, and I haven't had this issue yet. Still might be something with your connection. Download speeds are great, but in the case of streaming video your network latency is of equal if not more importance. The latency issue is more prevalent on live events than other streams.

Mrs Vandalay likes the Hallmark channel, so went with PlayStation Vue. All the streaming!

Did this for the GT game. They sent me another 5 day free trial promo code that I used for the UNCC game. Cancelled. They sent me ANOTHER 5 day free trial that I will use this weekend for the BC game.

Serious question...do you have to have a Play Station for this option?

however, different devices offer different abilities. I have read with an Apple TV you can watch 4 different streams at one time with PS Vue, no such luck with the Roku.

Thought this was about a different free 7 day trial and I was gonna save you the trouble . Was gonna tell you that yes the pills work but there needs to be an agreement with her prior to ingestion because bubba .... and I cannot stress this enough ...you do not want that hornets nest kicked if you ain't got the net to catch em' in .
But yeah , cable providers and stuff .

I didn't catch what device you are streaming through. But just FYI the oldest (aka 1st) generation FireSticks are not compatible with YouTubeTV. I've had YTTV (currently), Hulu Live and PS Vue. Pros & Cons with all of them. Sling buffered WAY too much with me plus no local channels so I ditched it.
The following are my opinions: ~ Vue has the best interface and offers 4 tiers plus add-ons; but its also most expensive ~ YTTV has unlimited DVR and most concurrent streams. Interface is hit or miss but you can customize it putting all your favorites at the top. Only one package available for it....you get what you get. ~ Hulu isn't bad, especially if you're already Hulu subscriber and/or will be doing Disney+ when it opens on Nov 12th. They also only offer one package plus some add-ons.
(By add-ons I'm talking HBO, Showtime, etc)

YouTube TV is a pretty good option. You can set up other family members that do not have to be in your area. I believe there is a streaming limit of 3 devices at once regardless of location. Also you can edit your preferences to not have to see listing for Telemundo, CNN, etc... Those settings edits follow you to other devices as well.
