Going on the field after the game??

If your seats are in the top stands, are you allowed to go on the field after the game? I can't find lower level seats& my son really wants to meet some players. TIA

In the past we haven't had a problem leaving a few minutes early and getting in the lower level to go on the field.

the crowd hits the exits, you don't want to be going against the flow. That late in the game, you won't get hassled by the gate attendants, hold up your ticket stub as you walk in and they won't verify upper or lower deck.

And re-enter the lower deck. If you want to get on the field to meet players, you will need to leave your seats several minutes before the game is over. You will have to enter the lower deck to make your way to the field. If you wait until the game's done you will never get to the field in time to see any players. Last time I tried this it took well over 20 minutes to get there and they supposedly close the field 30 minutes after the game.

If it's a runaway/throwaway game, the attendants aren't likely to care whether you're upper or lower deck and will probably let you re-enter the stadium in the lower deck. If it's a close game and/or the stadium is still full, they might give you problems. But I think in general you're probably safe to re-enter.
