Great read! It struck me how well organized all sports teams have to be to get everyone and everything to a game. It is amazing they could pull this off (assuming the drivers get the truck there in time lol)

The logistics involved in college football today

are staggering. All the athletic equipment, training equipment, coaching equipment and technology, then to get all the players, coaches, trainers and staff to the game as well. Hotels have to be arranged, as do meals, and maybe some film rooms and such. There are interviews to be conducted, team meetings to be held, and ultimately a game to be played!

It's amazing and a testament to how well all of those involved do their job that, to my knowledge, there have never been any issues or delays throughout all of this, and especially impressive this year with all the craziness and unpredictability due to the COVID mess.

Coaches and players get all the credit and glory, but there are a LOT of "little people" behind the scenes, without whom the game couldn't even be played, no matter how good the players and coaches are.
