One of my brothers, who up until 6 weeks ago was the epitome of health, has been hit by cancer.
His family is still in a state of shock and disbelief. He has had surgery and is having trouble with recovery. The latest is that the cancer is aggressive and he needs to recover from surgery to start radiation.
He was a decathlete at Clemson late seventies, played in the USFL, and CFL. Hung out at Nick's while at Clemson, as a lot of the track guys did.
He received his undergrad in Bio-Physics and Masters in Bio-Engineering.
Request - he is very discouraged now and needs to be lifted up.
For those of you who remember him, and want to send a note, you can reply here, and I will forward.

Hang in there brother. This a tough obstacle of life that although many of us won’t go through.....I do believe that because of the devotion you have put into your life you can get through this. Tiger nation is behind you. I will be praying for healing. So.....my brother.....fight tiger, fight tiger, fight, fight, fight.

You were used to competing in 10 events and did very well. Now there is an 11th event that wasn’t scheduled.....you got this!!! GOD BLESS.

I also am a former Clemson decathlete, from the early 90's. God Bless him.
Look up Dr. Jerry Tennant, and the correlation with root canals and cancer.

Is an implant any better than a root canal or is it better to have the tooth pulled? I had a RC done in February and have been unhappy with it ever since. I lived with a lot of pain for a good while and didn't know jack about RC's so the dentist got away with putting mercury in the amalgam. I'm worried and thinking of getting it pulled.

I've got some supportive family too and it's great to
have family in the good times and the bad including the
Tnet family. Hope and pray your bro can find peace and
healing and all the love and support that he needs.
