Confidential pen to paper happens on early signing day but he won't publicly announce until early January.

Best we can do is watch the crystal balls.

Exactly. He stated he would complete a confidential early signing, and then publicly announce Jan 2.
The decommitment irritated some fans, but he sounds like a good young man. I would love to have him on our team.

You can go to any school to play or you can choose the one that will pay dividends for a lifetime. It's real simple.
But, he's 3k miles away, so I get it if he chooses to stay local. I can't say that I would have traveled that far to school when I was 18. However, it's a shorter distance now than it was 30+ years ago with the changes in technology.

What dividends for a lifetime does Clemson provide that other schools don't? I mean, he can be real popular in the state of South Carolina at the end of his career, but I'd argue that's a better benefit in any other state of the schools that are in the running. Especially USC.

Always get a chuckle when fans aren't even a bit objective to realize that other top schools also have benefits to offer a recruit.

Covid issues next year. I would stay away from Pac 12 and Big 10.
