His blustery insistence Georgia was one of the four best teams is hilarious. I'm sure Texas enjoyed it before and after kicking Georgia to the curb.

The "world's best conference" SEC was definitely overrated. Look at the way Alabama lost and the GA loss to Texas. My observation is, maybe GA was better than Bama, but definitely not good enough to beat the Tigers!

Yep . They looked great against each other but pedestrian when they bowled with good teams from the " lesser " conferences " .
Any chance that they're swollen egos will shrink back a little this year ?

With two losses (a blow-out loss to LSU and Bama in the SECCG), Georgia simply didn't deserve to be one of the four teams in the playoffs.

As for the humbling loss to Texas in the Sugar Bowl, which supports the selection committees decision, well...Georgia probably didn't want to be there (rolling eyes).
