Neither team has a great defense. Alabama’s secondary has been suspect all season, which was custom made for Florida’s offense.

Agree. With the exception of a few QB draws/scrambles, the Gators had/have ZERO run game.

As for the Gator’s D, Harris, Smith, Jones and Co. make it hard to determine if it is truly that pathetic, but they (UF) certainly looked pathetic.

I work with a couple Bama grads who have been telling me their D has started to gel.

Apparently by "gel" he means playing teams with a really bad offense.
