Nothing says, "We're going to run the ball louder than the Wildcat using a non passer". I prefer the defense to at least have to consider the possibility of a pass. But who knows, maybe ETN can pass.

Doesn't necessarily matter if they know we're going to run it or not. It gives a strategic advantage by adding an extra blocker. I'm not suggesting using this as our primary offense. They still have to stop it.

We've tried a lot of them over the years.

For the most part our "Wildcat" efforts have simply resulted in a wasted play.

Sometimes it was worse.

Last time we tried it, we lost Adam Choice for the season.

Used Justin Miller some a couple of years earlier and it probably cost us a win up a Duke when we'd driven inside the 5 yard line with traditional offense and got stacked up for no gain with the "Wildcat" ...
