Do you think Chad Morris would still be

OC at Clemson if he had turned down SMU job?
He’s starting to fall into that “journeyman” assistant role that many get trapped in
I would be surprised if he’s still at Auburn in 2021

I wouldn't think Dabo would have him back. But no that's my answer on if Chad would still be here.

It seems like his O has been not that awful aside from Georgia.

If you’re asking whether he would’ve eventually been fired by Dabo had he never taken a job elsewhere then I don’t think he would have. I think we would’ve continued putting up huge offensive numbers with Watson, Lawrence, and the rest of our offensive talent.

His leaving was at a good time for Clemson and put more cash in his bank account. I like Chad, what he did at CU was great but I think he was slightly overrated for what he brought to the table. But there are many very overrated coaches out there, so Chad is in good shape with me.

I like chad and he helped Clemson get going in the tight direction.I also think he had got our offense about as far as he could. He was needed when he came and done a great job but his type offense runs it’s course in a few years.Defenses catch up. Tony and Jeff while they learned a lot from Chad have expanded well beyond where we were when he left

He is not in an ideal situation at Auburn. He has to deal with Gus, and he doesn't have the threats there he had at CLEMSON, which is astounding considering Auburn perennially recruits at a high level. But no I don't think he would still be at CLEMSON, someone other than SMU would have picked him up because he would have continuously put up huge numbers.

No, if he did not leave for SMU he would left for another program.
I think he will ge another crack at the HC but another P5 might be difficult. Maybe a AAC mid-level team will be the next stop.
I also think Arky was short-sighted. I think Morris would have turned them around but I don't think Arky was realistic at where they were as a program. Keep in mind that Mack Brown was 1-10 in his first two seasons at UNC.... being bad can take some time to turn around.

Don't know but glad he left. I wasn't impressed with him when he was here.

as a coach in the PAC-12 somewhere.
My next guess is he goes to the Big 12 as an OC.
And then the Coots hire him. :$
