I've been interested to see how ray ray and Deon do this year. I think Deon will have a slightly better season

He's got to catch the ball. Lots of dropped balls last year. The thing that will help him the most will be having a QB who can pass the ball to him!

Wrong QB last year for his game. It will be a non issue. He is meant to stretch the field like Martavis Bryant. He will have a great year and his hands are a non issue.

Definitely agree with Carlsbad. I think that’s going to be borne out this year.

Yep. Deon received a lot more criticism than he deserved.

People have tendency to seek overly simplistic solutions/explanations for things.

deon is a great athlete. but he brought a lot of stuff on himself. no one made him smoke the dope. his work ethic was shaky at times also.

Often he was open and the ball was not delivered.

That happened more often than he dropped a well thrown ball.
His weed history inflates the number of drops.

There was probably at least 8 times he was borderline wide open going deep where KB just couldn't hit him. I agree.

If you have been around Tnet long enough you would know Deon's drops were all on Coach Scott. He can't coach WRs. Right Tnet?

IMHO DC, Tiger coaches and KB all share responsibility for DC’ s drop in 2017 performance. Not surprised with DC’s physical skill sets, he is impressing in Indy with pro QB’s including Luck. Look how Nuk’s performance increased with DW4.

If Watson would have returned, DC would have gone way higher in the draft obviously. Our offense last year was just a dud for his game.

If Randy Moss cured Deon's drops, we need to bring him in for a session or two.

You should have seen the throws.
DC had 750 yards as a backup with Deshaun.
He had 750 yards as the primary target for KB.
Walt doesn't know what he's talking about......

If Deon has a great rookie year in the NFL, then it only serves to prove that KB was just a very average passing QB who couldn't take advantage of Deon's skills.

Deon owns some of his performance issues as well. He still lacked some maturity to understand it wasn't all about him. His body language on the field showed it at times last year. I can understand his frustration with having a pass play called, being open, and watching your QB take off running though.
Not convinced drops aren't still an issue though. He dropped a couple at pro day that hit both hands.

Deon wa playing out of position last year at one of the outside wr position. I think the weight loss mixed with the fact he was better suited to play in the slot led to his subpar season.

KB is a great kid, leader and a good QB. Just not the game for elite level teams. Hey, not really a knock- he gets compared to bama kid all the time. 10 years ago at Clemson that would have been wonderful. Not today.
Happy Cain is showing out!
Go Tigers.
