the playing field is level, truth takes care of itself. Where truth gets skewed is when anyone in authority gets involved in assigning access to communication.

One way of looking at it, but consider a deeper timeline. The common good is hard wired in the DNA of all living things. It is how humanity got it’s start, and how all civilizations grow. Order and structure are crucial to the survival of any group. An objective and commonly held truth is critical.

I dont know how deep you think deep is, but 50 million to 100 million people are 6 feet deep in Russia and China. If that is what you mean by good being hard wired in, no thank you.
If good is hard wired in, the freer the individual is allowed to be, and the more authority is decentralized, the better society will be. If you are proposing the opposite, the US left has to explain how it went from the 1960's SDS to totalitarianism in one generation,
