Clemson commit Sean Pollard / News

Oct 27, 2015, 11:07 AM
14109.jpeg(1,013.0 K)

Clemson OL commit Sean Pollard lost his grandmother recently, and while I was getting his thoughts on Clemson's win over Miami yesterday he sent this pic of a new tattoo he has that honors her memory. I thought it would be kinda cool for the guys and gals on the board here to send some positive thoughts his way....he's going to be a fantastic ambassador for Clemson University, and he's just as good a person as he is a football player. Leave your thoughts here..and I will make sure he seems them. Thanks!

I hope this scripture helps you Sean.

John 14:1-6

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Sorry for your loss. My grandmother passed away recently as well. She was a very strong woman and helped raise me for 5 years. She was also one of the biggest Clemson fans ever! It hurts to lose someone so special that gave so much, but you can be happy for the memories and thankful for the times you had together.

Sorry to see that she died relatively young (67). I was fortunate to have one of my grandmothers live into her 90s. Kind of offset having both of my grandfathers die before I was even born.

Honor her memory Sean and become the man that she prayed you would be on and off the football field. Can't think of a better place to do both than at Clemson. Good luck to you in all of your endeavors and especially earning that coveted college degree. God bless you and your family during this difficult time.
