Chase Brice is the most loved backup + transfer QB ever

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen the kind of support that he’s gotten when a player announces his intentions to transfer. He is a true Clemson Man.

For Clemson, absolutely. Overall, not as loved as Jalen Hurts though. He was obviously going to be a very, very good college QB who could start at 99% of schools. He took them to a national championship in 2017 and was benched during it (which would definitely hurt if you took the team there). But he stuck around to help Tua out and ended up winning the SEC championship for them. He's the most loved backup + transfer QB ever, and it's pretty much the sole reason he was invited to New York. We love Chase because he came in when Lawrence was injured and saved our 15-0 record. He could start at some schools. But he stuck around because Clemson didn't have another viable backup.
